Besides the busy lunchtime trade, Sababa on Bree is also open on the first Thursday evening of every month for ‘falafel night’, which has become something of an institution.
Those in the know stop by, not only for a fix of pitas stuffed with hot, made-from-scratch falafel balls and veggie pickles, but for morning coffee from Barista, Donald Harawa and Nirit’s freshly-baked chocolate rugelach (like petite croissants but rolled from buttery yeast dough).
